Professional Audio Equipment Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement is entered into between Electronic Space, referred to as the Company, and the Client, referred to as the Renter.

This agreement covers the rental of professional audio equipment, touring systems, amplifiers, loudspeakers, DSP processors, digital mixers, and related live sound equipment listed in the rental order, quotation, or invoice.

Rental Equipment

Electronic Space agrees to rent the professional audio equipment listed in the rental confirmation, quotation, or invoice issued to the Renter.

All rented equipment remains the exclusive property of Electronic Space at all times.

Rental Period

Late returns might result in additional rental charges.

Rental Fees and Payment Terms

The Renter agrees to pay all rental fees, deposits, transportation costs, setup fees, and extra charges stated in the invoice or rental confirmation.

The Renter agrees to return all rental equipment:

• On or before the agreed return date.

• In the same working condition as received.

Additional charges might apply for:

• Improper packaging.

• Excessive damage.

• Delayed returns.

Responsibilities of the Renter

During the rental period, the Renter holds full responsibility for the rented audio equipment.

Renter Responsibilities

The Renter must manage:

• Equipment care.

• Safe operation.

• Proper transportation.

• Secure storage.

• Operational supervision.

Usage Rules

The Renter agrees:

• To use the equipment only for professional and lawful purposes.

• Not to modify or alter the equipment.

• Not to sub-rent or transfer equipment without written authorization.

• To ensure qualified personnel operate professional touring systems and live sound equipment.

Damage, Loss, and Theft

The Renter accepts full financial responsibility for equipment damage, loss, theft, misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification during the rental period.

Repair or replacement costs might be charged for:

• Damage.

• Misuse.

• Negligence.

• Unauthorized modification.

Required Notification

The Renter must notify Electronic Space immediately in the event of:

• Operational malfunction.

• Shipping damage.

• Theft.

• Equipment failure.

Technical Operation and Compatibility

Professional audio systems require correct technical setup and safe operation.

Technical Requirements

The Renter must ensure proper:

• Amplifier configuration.

• DSP processing.

• Voltage compatibility.

• Signal routing.

• Rigging procedures.

• Deployment setup.

Technical Limitations

Electronic Space is not responsible for issues caused by:

• Improper installation.

• Incorrect amplifier matching.

• Inadequate power supply.

• Unauthorized technical changes.

• Improper deployment practices.

Professional setup by qualified technicians is strongly recommended.

Liability Limitation

Electronic Space is not liable for losses, claims, or interruptions linked to improper use of rented systems.

Liability Exclusions

Electronic Space shall not be held liable for:

• Event interruptions.

• Revenue loss.

• Production delays.

• Indirect damages.

• Personal injury.

• Third-party claims.

• Operational misuse of rented systems.

The Renter assumes full operational responsibility once equipment has been delivered, collected, or installed.

Cancellation Policy

Rental cancellations depend on the rental start date, preparation status, and logistics costs already incurred.

Cancellation Before 48 Hours

Rental cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental start date might qualify for a partial or full refund, depending on preparation and logistics status.

Cancellation Within 48 Hours

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date might be subject to:

• Reservation fees.

• Logistics charges.

• Equipment preparation costs.

• Cancellation penalties.

Custom touring preparations and large-scale event reservations might involve separate cancellation terms.

International Rentals and Logistics

International audio equipment rentals require proper planning, documentation, and technical checks.

International Rental Responsibilities

For international deployments, the Renter might be responsible for:

• Customs documentation.

• Import duties.

• Local taxes.

• Venue permissions.

• Voltage verification.

• Cross-border compliance requirements.

Professional freight coordination might be required for large-format touring systems and concert sound equipment.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of France.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

Acceptance of Agreement

By placing a rental order, accepting delivery, signing an invoice, or using equipment supplied by Electronic Space, the Renter confirms acceptance of these Rental Terms and Conditions.
